Nice and low for easier conversion

By: Polarity Geek

Lower Standing discs are easier to convert to Foundation disc.
When placing a Standing disc (a leaner), place it as far away from your Foundation disc to acheive a super-low angle.
Be carefull, though, as a bump of the table – or your opponent – could cause the disc to fall before you want it to!

I agree with Opie, I have found that coming in from the opposite side of the leaner (assuming there is only one leaner against a foundation disc) seems to push/slide the leaner away.

Great tip. I found this out when me and my friend first found out that converting was a legal move. We saw it done in the rulebook but couldnt figure out how to actually convert because everytime we did it the pieces would snap together…
But then I found out that if you set them at a low angle you can convert so, so much easier.

A Squeegy pointed out today during a game, however, low Standing Discs make accidental conversion (on the part of either player) more likely. High Standing Discs can be more static by virtue of the forces holding the Disc in place.
