Establish house rules to resolve 'soft conflicts'
By: CHANCER
While the rulebook is pretty thorough, it does not really explain some of the more ‘grey areas’ of game play. For example, how do you resolve accidents like table bumps, or a sneeze that causes pieces to attach? By setting down some simple house rules before play begins, you’ll save everyone some trouble. I find that the simplest way to resolve a problem is this: "You caused the problem? It’s my turn now. I’ll attempt to capture those points!" As long as all players agree with this approach, its alllll good.

Yah, we usually play if you cause the bump, its just as though its a secondary action that you caused. If a third party causes the bump, it counts as just a secondary action and whoever’s turn it is when it happens gets penalized, since it’s random when other people might inadvertantly screw up the game, we consider this fair.
Hi,
Good Sportsmanlike attuide is a must in this game, I tried playing one bloke who got his knickers in a twist when a footfall (not ours) moved a piece. We always play as above, you caused it, my advantage, unless it is by a third factor, when the smallest advantage gains (i.e. you gain 2 points, I gain 1 equals I gain a point, you play.
Jam.
Player etiquette and good sportsmanlike conduct should demand this.
I am intrigued by the low rating on this tip. Sure, just 2 people have rated it so far, but I think that the core advice is stellar. While it’s not a strategy tip, it is good advice.
